Seungjoo Lee has extensive work experience in the engineering field, specifically in the display industry. They started their career in 1996 as an Assistant Engineer at Samsung Heavy Industries and worked there until 2001. In 2006, Seungjoo joined Samsung Display Co. as a Principal Engineer and remained in that role until 2020. During their time at Samsung Display Co., Seungjoo also worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan for a brief period in 2006. Currently, Seungjoo holds the position of Corporate Vice President at Samsung Display.
Seungjoo Lee completed their Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from Seoul National University, which they attended from 1990 to 1994. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Seoul National University from 1994 to 1996. Seungjoo then furthered their studies at the University of Michigan, where they attained a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on their research spanning from 2001 to 2006.
