Elsie Franco

Elsie Franco currently serves as the Lead STEM Teacher and Librarian at San Diego FC's Right to Dream Academy since May 2025. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Alumni Engagement at Teach For America from March 2022 to May 2025 and serving as an Educational Consultant at Swun Math from August 2023 to April 2025. Additionally, Elsie held positions as an Adjunct Professor at National University between September 2020 and December 2022, and worked at KIPP SoCal Public Schools from July 2013 to April 2022 as a 7th Grade Math Teacher, Math Department Lead, and Summer School Director. Earlier career highlights include being a founding 5th Grade Math Teacher and Math Department Lead at Achievement First from July 2011 to June 2013, along with experience as a Fourth Grade Teacher. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in American Literature from UCLA and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from Relay Graduate School of Education.
