Marko Jurisic is an experienced robotics engineer and electrical product designer. Marko began their career in 2017 as an Electrical Engineer Intern at Vigosoft CAD Studio, where they apprenticed in a company that specialized in Computer Aided Design for a variety of engineering purposes. In 2018, they joined UBC Unmanned Aircraft Systems as Captain, Payload Team Lead, Software Engineer, and Payload Hardware Engineer. In this role, they captained a team of 65 undergraduate and graduate students to design and build unmanned aircraft systems, oversaw the completion of 4 year long projects, managed finances, team recruitment, team activities and sponsorship relationships, and designed hardware components for an industry standard unmanned aerial vehicle. In 2021, Marko Jurisic joined Dometic as an Electrical Product Designer Co-op, and in 2022 they began working at Sanctuary as a Robotics Engineer and Robotics Engineering Co-op.

Marko Jurisic completed their International Baccalaureate in 2016-2018. Marko then attended The University of British Columbia from 2018-2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science - BASc in Engineering. In 2020, they obtained a certification in Python Data Structures from Coursera.
