Henry Qiu

Henry Qiu has a strong background in computer science and cognitive science, with a Master's Degree from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's Degree from UC San Diego. Currently, Henry serves as a Master's Fellow at Sandia National Laboratories, participating in the Master's Fellowship Program since March 2015. Prior experience includes a Data Science Internship at harvest.ai, focusing on NLP tools and neural network training, and a Research Assistant role at the Computational & Cognitive Neuroscience Lab, where Henry conducted experiments on optimism bias and decision-making. Additional experience includes working as an Information Systems Assistant at UC San Diego, addressing software and hardware issues, and a Data Analyst position at the San Diego Regional Data Library, where data analysis was performed for journalists and non-profits.
