Peter Swarts

Peter Swarts is a highly experienced professional in the mining and equipment sectors, currently serving as the ROCK TOOLS Contract and Operations Manager at Sandvik since June 2020. Previously, Peter worked at ECMining from January 2014 to June 2020 as GM Drilling & Heavy Equipment and Service Manager, where responsibilities included managing the Surface Drill Division and overseeing drill trials at Kansanshi Mine in Zambia. Peter also held the position of Engineering Superintendent for Mobile Equipment Underground at Mopani Copper Mine from November 2010 to October 2013, managing a large fleet of loaders and dump trucks. Experience includes roles at Sandvik Mining and Construction and Barloworld Equipment, where Peter focused on customer relations, equipment operation, and staff management.
