Israel Bhailall

Israel Bhailall currently serves as the Head of Operations at Sanlam Investments since December 2022, where responsibilities include overseeing business outcomes, financial direction, operational readiness, and project management within the investment management division, notably facilitating the merger and acquisition from an operations perspective. Previously, Israel Bhailall was with Absa Group, starting in November 2009, where roles included Head of Investment Operations and Head of Investment Administration, focusing on middle office functions, performance analytics, compliance, and investment value creation. Additional experience includes positions as a Business Accountant for ABSA & SANLAM and a Portfolio Administrator at J.P. Morgan, along with a financial officer role at South African Airways. Israel Bhailall holds a Postgraduate Degree in Investments and Securities and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, both from Regent Business School.
