Sandra Friesen

Sandra Friesen has over a decade of experience in quality assurance and infrastructure management within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure and Services Clinical Trial Manufacturing at Sanofi since September 2014, Sandra has held various quality assurance roles, including QA Manager for R&D External Manufacturing and Head of QA Microbial Development. Prior experience includes positions at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics as a Quality Assurance Expert and Specialist in Quality Release. Sandra’s academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Diplom in General Biology with a focus on Plant Physiology from Universität Greifswald.
