Yun Bai

Yun Bai is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) across several leading biotechnology companies. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of CMC at Santa Ana Bio, Inc., Yun Bai is responsible for shaping the CMC function to advance immunotherapeutic products from preclinical to clinical stages. Previous roles include Vice President of CMC and Global Supply Chain at 89bio, where Yun Bai built and managed CMC and regulatory teams, and Sr. Director of CMC & Regulatory Affairs at Mapp Biopharmaceutical Inc., overseeing multiple anti-viral monoclonal antibody products. Yun Bai's career began at Epicyte Pharmaceutical, leading purification and assay development, and continued at Eli Lilly, where management of purification teams was a key focus. Yun Bai holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, alongside master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from East China University of Science and Technology.
