Matt Elmer

Matt Elmer is an experienced oil and gas executive with a robust background in production operations and management. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Oil Search Alaska since April 2019, Matt has previously held significant roles such as SVP of Production Operations and Oil & Gas Consultant. Matt's earlier positions include Chief Operating Officer at PO&G Resources and Vice President of Gulf Coast Production Operations at Denbury Resources, where responsibilities encompassed strategic development, operational oversight, and P&L management across several states. A long tenure at ConocoPhillips saw progression through roles such as Regional Operations Manager, where leadership over large onshore assets was critical. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Marietta College.
