Sarah Vella-Labrador has a varied work experience, beginning with their role as a Arts and Culture Writer for Emerald Media Group in 2014. In 2016, they held three different positions, including Copywriter for Combined Culture, Operations Specialist at the Student Recreation Center, and Marketing and Communications Intern at Peace Health. In 2017, they became a Copywriter at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, where they worked on campaigns for BMW, Pepsi, Doritos, Cheetos, and Xfinity. In 2019, they joined Facebook as a Creative Strategist and created the top performing content series to date, driving an increase of engagement by 156%. Sarah also founded Diverse 'n Determined, a career resource page on Instagram and soon to be podcast focused on empowering first gen, minority, BIPOC+, and immigrants. In 2021, they became Head of Social at Meta, where they worked with a small core team to pitch and build Meta Prosper, a new program and social channel supporting Asian and Pacific Islander creators, businesses, and nonprofits. In 2023, Sarah became Head of Creative at Sanzo.

Sarah Vella-Labrador graduated from the University of Oregon in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising.
