Job description

Established in 2012, SAOTA's Bursary Program supports the development of Architecture as a career by aiding the education of emerging South African talent. Over the past twelve years, we have awarded 73 bursaries to various South African university architecture students. Bursaries are available to qualifying postgraduate students who have shown excellence in their architecture studies.

Bursary recipients are required to complete their practical training with SAOTA upon finishing their qualification.

Applications for 2025 will be open from the 1st to the 31st of October 2024.

Application requirements:

  • Candidates must be studying Architecture,
  • Candidates must be South African citizens,
  • Your Curriculum Vitae and Portfolio,
  • University Acceptance letter,
  • Full academic transcripts
  • A short motivational video

Kindly be advised that this bursary does not encompass the entirety of expenses but will only cover a portion of the tuition fees.
