Caressa Lietman currently serves as the Associate Director of Therapeutic Development at the Sarah Cannon Research Institute, focusing on Lung Cancer and Melanoma & Skin Cancer Research Programs since April 2022. Prior to this role, Caressa held various positions at Sarah Cannon, including Senior Program Manager, Program Manager, and Program Management Associate from June 2018 to May 2022. Caressa's experience also includes a postdoctoral associate role at Vanderbilt University and a brief engagement as a postdoctoral associate at Insight Genetics Inc. Before this, Caressa worked as a Quality and Regulatory Intern at Baylor College of Medicine, where foundational academic training was completed, earning a Ph.D. in Molecular and Human Genetics from Baylor College of Medicine in 2014 and a BS in Biotechnology from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2009.
