Mohamad Irwan Aman

Mohamad Irwan Aman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and environmental engineering. Since January 2012, Mohamad has held various roles at Sarawak Energy Berhad, including General Manager and Head of Sustainability. Prior experience includes a consultancy role at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities, focusing on the Malaysia and Singapore markets, and technical advisory positions for Malaysia Green Technology Corporation and Pusat Tenaga Malaysia, where Mohamad worked on clean energy project feasibility studies and emissions inventory assessments. Mohamad's earlier career encompassed roles at Tenaga Nasional Berhad, NIRAS International Consulting, and TNB Research, with contributions to quality assurance and renewable energy projects. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and an MSc in Environmental Engineering from University Putra Malaysia, as well as participation in the Oxford Impact Investing Programme.
