Markku Honkasalo has extensive experience in financial roles, particularly as a CFO. Markku started their career in 1989 as a Specialist at Kansallis-Osake-Pankki and later worked as a Relationship Manager at Nordea Bank Finland Plc. In 1999, they became the Head of Nordic Corporate Clients at Nordea Bank Finland Plc, London Branch. Markku then joined Myllykoski as the Director of Administration and Legal in 2003. In 2009, they joined Rautaruukki Oyj as the Vice President of Financing and later became the CFO. In 2013, they joined Valmet Corporation as CFO and held the position until 2015 when they moved to Componenta where they also served as CFO until 2016. Currently, they are working as the CFO at SATO.
Markku Honkasalo completed an Executive MBA degree at Aalto University from 2010 to 2011. Markku also obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Law from the University of Helsinki.
