Walid Shukri

Walid Shukri is an accomplished board member with extensive experience in audit, compliance, and risk management across various sectors. Currently holding positions at stc and the Saudi Electricity Company, Walid serves as a chairman of various committees, maintaining a strong focus on risk and compliance. In addition to roles at IBM's Middle East Advisory Board and SALIC, where Walid oversees the Risk and Sustainability Committee, responsibilities also include significant contributions at the Middle East Paper Company and previous engagement with Maaden and the Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo Group. Educational qualifications include Certified Public Accountant credentials from both Saudi Arabia and the U.S., supplemented by a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
