Holly Quarzo

Holly Quarzo is a Professor of Graphic Design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, specializing in UI, UX, web, and mobile design since 2008. In this role, Quarzo focuses on teaching students about effective graphic design interfaces, complex graphical user interfaces, and user experience theories and practices. Prior to academia, Quarzo served as a Senior Designer in Human Centered Design at AT&T, where user experience design for self-service applications in retail stores was a key responsibility. Quarzo also held the position of Chief Creative Officer at echo11media inc., leading user-centered design initiatives and developing impactful web and eLearning solutions. Additional roles include Art Director at Proficient Systems and VerticalOne, where Quarzo contributed to the design and development of user interfaces and managed teams of designers. Educational credentials include an MFA in Graphic Design from Indiana State University and a BA in Studio Arts from the University of Rochester.
