Vikas Babel has a diverse work experience in finance and business management. Vikas began their career at Navneet Minerals as a Manager Finance, where they were responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving opportunities. Vikas then moved on to GE Money Servicing as an Assistant Manager FP&A, where they conducted variance analysis, supervised monthly closing processes, and handled financial reporting for various business verticals. After that, they joined Tech Mahindra Business Services Ltd as the Head of Business Finance, overseeing accounting, costing, and reporting. Vikas also worked at Foodlink Services India Pvt Ltd as the Head of Finance, where they focused on financial planning, budgeting, and revenue generation. Vikas later joined J.P. Morgan as an Associate in Finance & Business Management, and their most recent role was as Vice President at SBI Mutual Fund. In this position, they led the management reporting project, solved use cases through business intelligence reporting and automation, and worked closely with various business teams. Overall, Vikas has a strong background in finance, business transformation, and team leadership.
Vikas Babel has an MBA in Finance & Marketing from FORE School of Management, New Delhi, which they obtained from 2003 to 2004. Vikas also has a degree in Strategic Cost Management from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, obtained in 2013. In 2012, they completed a program in Organizational Leadership from Indian School of Business. Prior to these, they earned an M.com in Commerce from Maharshi Dayanand Sarswati University from 2003 to 2005, and an HSC in Commerce from Mayo College Ajmer from 1997 to 1999. In addition, they hold a GNIIT certification in Computers from NIIT Limited.
