Mariana Rachid

Mariana Rachid is a dedicated professional serving as the Group Compliance Officer at SBM Offshore since January 2019, where responsibilities include compliance support for operations in Portugal, Africa, and South America, as well as management of the Speak Up program and third-party compliance. Prior experience includes a role as a Junior Attorney at Fábio Azevedo & Bragança Advogados Associados, focusing on complex litigation and legal drafting, and a Legal Intern position at Defensoria Pública do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, where legal research and document preparation were key duties. Currently pursuing an ICA Diploma in Governance, Risk & Compliance from the International Compliance Association, in collaboration with Alliance Manchester Business School, Mariana holds a legal degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro.
