Previously, Lien co-founded Octagon Capital Partners, focusing on hospitality investments from 2002 to 2006. Lien's extensive experience includes a significant role as Vice President of Acquisitions & Development at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., from 1995 to 2002, where Lien contributed to the company's growth in Asia Pacific. Lien began a career at Westin Hotels & Resorts as Director of Development from 1989 to 1995. Lien holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel/Motel Administration/Management from Cornell University, obtained between 1984 and 1988.
