Hannes Krieger

Hannes Krieger is an accomplished visual effects professional with extensive experience in the film industry. Currently serving as the Head of FX for North America and Asia at Scanline VFX since October 2014, Hannes has contributed as an FX Supervisor on notable projects such as "Free Guy" and "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings." Previously, Hannes held the position of FX Lead on films including "Justice League," "Rampage," "Aquaman," and "Spiderman: Far From Home," as well as worked as an FX Artist on "Batman vs Superman," "Independence Day: Resurgence," and "Power Rangers." Prior to Scanline VFX, Hannes gained experience at Pixomondo from September 2011 to July 2014, contributing to projects like "Oblivion," "Game of Thrones," and the VES-nominated "Wanda Startours." Hannes began the career journey as a 3D Intern at Madness GmbH before working as a Mediadesigner at Ungeheuer + Ulmer. Hannes holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Audiovisual Media from Stuttgart Media University and a degree in Mediadesigner print from Ungeheuer + Ulmer.
