We are looking for an attorney to join our highly regarded and growing Education Law practice, to specialize in Special Education, based out of our Lyndhurst, NJ office.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced attorney interested in servicing public entities, with a background in school law and special education experience a plus. The ideal candidate will come equipped with at least 1 to 2 years of experience.
The candidate will support attorneys in preparing for due process hearings including witness preparation, preparing student records requests, review special education documents, and prepare settlements and may be requested to attend IEP meetings as needed. Depending on experience, the candidate may also participate in advising and counseling school district administrators with respect to special education issues.
In addition, successful candidates will have excellent research, writing and presentation skills, and high professional standards.
