Arild Dyngeland is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in criminal law. Currently serving as a Partner and Lawyer at Advokatfirmaet Schjødt since January 2020, Dyngeland also acts as a regular defense counsel at the Norwegian Supreme Court since March 2014. Prior to these roles, Dyngeland was an Attorney at Law and Partner at Advokatfirma Alvheim og Hansen ANS from July 1998 to December 2019, specializing in defense counsel for criminal cases, including white-collar offenses. Additionally, from April 2018 to June 2019, Dyngeland was a member of the advisory committee to the European Criminal Bar Association, contributing to the promotion of fundamental rights in the legal process. Dyngeland's legal foundation is bolstered by a Cand.jur. degree from the University of Bergen, completed in 1998.
