Schuler Shook
Ted Ohl is a seasoned professional in theater design and production with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Ted serves as Principal at Schuler Shook since October 2019. Previously, Ted was the Project Development Director at Texas Scenic Company from 2016 to 2019 and co-founded both acouStaCorp (2011-2016) and Pook Diemont & Ohl (1982-2016). Early in Ted's career, the role of Director of Stage Department was held at The Juilliard School from 1979 to 1985, and Ted also served as Technical Director at Spoleto Festival USA (1980-1981). Other notable positions include Instructor and Associate Technical Director at Yale School of Drama (1978-1979), and Production Manager at The Santa Fe Opera (1976-1979). Ted earned a Master of Fine Arts in Theater Design and Production from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Sociology from the University of the Pacific.
