Meredith Nichols

Meredith Nichols is a Scientific Programmer/Analyst II at Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI), supporting NASA's Global Modeling and Assimilation Office since August 2021. In addition, Meredith serves as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor for Oceanography at Howard Community College and has been an Active Operational Member of the Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad since 2018, holding multiple emergency medical qualifications. Previous roles include On-Deck Coordinator and instructor at Columbia Association, Geospatial Data Programmer Analyst at KBR, and various programming positions at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies and NOAA. Meredith holds a Master of Science in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences from the University of Maryland and is pursuing an Associate degree in Registered Nursing. Other educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology from Penn State University and an Associate in Fire Science & Leadership from Howard Community College.
