Fras Wasim is a seasoned Research Scientist at SCIEX since March 2017, with a strong focus on algorithmic research in cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Wasim has developed prototypes that enhance customer workflows and has successfully transitioned early-phase software prototypes into market-ready products by collaborating with cross-functional teams and optimizing performance. Prior to SCIEX, Wasim worked as a Matlab Developer at Software Techniques Inc., where advanced signal processing and optimization methods were employed to create tailored simulation software. Early experience includes a role as Student Engineer at DC White Consulting Engineers. Fras Wasim holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
