Lee Vance joined the SCO Board of Directors in October, 2014. He was elected Treasurer in March, 2015. He also serves as Chair of the Finance Committee and as a member of the Executive and Investment & Pension committees.
Lee retired from Goldman Sachs in 2000 after 20 years with the firm, during which time he managed derivative trading in Foreign Exchange, Equity, Commodity and Fixed Income markets. He is the author of “Restitution” (Knopf, 2007) and “The Garden of Betrayal” (Knopf, 2010) and is currently working on two plays: “Bright Lines” and “The Peaceable Kingdom.” Lee is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Business School. His wife, Cynthia King Vance, formerly served as a member and as Chair of the SCO Board until 2013.
