Jazzmine Smith is an experienced education leader currently serving as the State Director at Scoot Education since April 2022. Prior roles include Corporate Recruiter at On Location and Associate Director of Leadership Recruitment at KIPP New Jersey. Jazzmine's career began with roles at Newark Public Schools as Coordinator of Talent Development and at Global Kids, Inc. as Site Coordinator. Additional experience includes serving at Princeton University, where responsibilities encompassed directing teacher orientation retreats and developing curricula focused on social and emotional learning. Starting in youth service advocacy, Jazzmine managed partnerships with public high schools at New York Cares. Jazzmine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History, Pan-African Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies from Drew University.
