Charlie Simpson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles. Charlie began their career as a Rugby Player for Stade Aurillacois Cantal Auvergne in 2013. In 2014, they joined EY as an Associate and later became a Senior, demonstrating a deep understanding of complex accounting concepts and establishing productive relationships with clients. From 2017 onwards, they transitioned to Scottish Rugby, initially working as a Strategy Manager and currently serving as the Head of Business Development since September 2022.

Charlie Simpson completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they attended from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they attended Ballymena Academy, where they completed their Grammar School education from 2003 to 2010. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Charlie pursued further studies in Accounting and obtained a CA (Chartered Accountant) certification from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs, which they attended from 2014 to 2017.
