Matt Cuhls

Matt Cuhls is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the Non Executive Director and Chair of the Risk Committee at Scottish Widows since January 2024, Cuhls also holds the position of Chair of the Board at International Financial Group Ltd and Fidelity International's Independent Governance Committee. Previous roles include CEO of ReAssure, Non Executive Director at Phoenix Group, and Chair of Athora Ireland plc. Cuhls has a strong educational background with an MEng from the University of Oxford, an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, and ACA qualifications from ICAEW.
