Hayden Paterick is an experienced operations and project manager, currently serving as the Operations Manager at Scouts NSW since January 2025, where there is a focus on managing multiple regions and identifying revenue opportunities for organizational growth. Prior roles include Tournament & Affiliate Manager for the National Pickleball League and a progression through various positions at PCYC NSW, culminating as Business Optimisation Project Lead. Earlier experience includes roles in hospitality at Novotel Manly Pacific, as Camp Director at Challenger Sports, and managing futsal competitions and student life at the International College of Management Sydney. Hayden holds a Bachelor of Sports Management from ICMS, completed in 2018, and has technical experience as a fire technician at Total Fire Solutions.

Scouts NSW provides young Australians aged 5 to 25 with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure. With over 18,000 youth and adult members from various cultural and religious backgrounds and with varying abilities, Scouts is one of the largest and most successful youth organisations in New South Wales. Today’s Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing and even flying! Scouts can also become involved in performing arts, leadership development, community service, amateur radio operation, environmental projects, large-scale Australian events such as Cuborees, Jamborees and Ventures, international events, and service projects in developing countries. At Scouts NSW, we put the needs of young people first. Our youth led, adult supported approach ensures our youth members are always at the forefront of our program and gives them the platform to take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
