Previously, Chaparro held the position of President and General Manager at Telemundo 25 Denver/KDEN from August 2010 to January 2019, where management of the station's broadcast, sales, marketing, and digital operations was overseen. Earlier experience includes serving as Station Manager at Telemundo Chicago and Sales Manager at Telemundo. Chaparro holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Advertising from Politécnico Grancolombiano and is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy in Denver, completed in 2014.
