Katy Semtner

Katy Semtner serves as the Senior Vice President of People & Culture for the Seattle Kraken since May 2022. Prior to this role, Katy held the position of Vice President of Human Resources with the Oklahoma City Thunder from July 2008 to May 2022. Katy's career in human resources began as the Director of Human Resources for the Seattle Sonics & Storm from January 2003 to July 2008, following a tenure as Human Resources Manager at The Edgewater Hotel from 2000 to 2003, and at Youth Eastside Services from 1996 to 2000. Katy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from UC San Diego and is a graduate of Roosevelt High School.
