Kristi joined Securian Financial in 1994 as a customer service representative, serving individual annuity holders.
In 1999, she joined Group Insurance, leading new client implementations and enrollment. Kristi joined the client relationship team in 2005, and after a series of promotions was named second vice president.
After nearly 20 years as a leader in the employee benefits market, she joined human resources as the company’s first chief diversity officer in 2017. A year later, Kristi assumed responsibility for all of Human Resources, and was named vice president and chief human resources officer in 2019. In 2020, Kristi was promoted to senior vice president and chief human resources officer.
