David, originally from Northern Ireland, joined the company as a part-time Door Supervisor whilst studying at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Following a sabbatical year where he served as VP of the Student’s Association and VP of SUSF, he joined the company full-time as an Area Manager in June 2000 with responsibility for Leisure and Retail in Edinburgh.
Progressing through the organization, David was appointed to the role of Operations Director in 2008 – overseeing the successful delivery of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 2014.
In his current role, David is responsible for operational strategy for SGL and has operational responsibility for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
