Scott Debus has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Scott started their career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas in 1997 as a Programmer Analyst. In 1998, they joined BNSF Railway as a Senior Systems Developer and stayed there until 1999. Scott then moved to Payless ShoeSource, where they held various roles including Programmer Analyst, Senior Programmer Analyst, Business Systems Analyst III, and finally, Sr. Business Analyst. After almost two decades with Payless ShoeSource, they joined Security Benefit in 2018 as a Software Engineer III.
Scott Debus has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Scott also studied Business Administration and Management, General at Kansas City Kansas Community College. In addition, Scott pursued Continuing Education in Computer Science at Washburn University.
