Rubén Jarque has a diverse work experience, starting as a Software Developer at GDSoft Consulting S.L. in 2008. Rubén then joined Swiss Mobility Solutions as a Software Engineer in 2009 before being promoted to Team Lead of the backend group in 2011. Later, Rubén joined STARZPLAY in 2014, where they held various roles including Backend Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering, and VP of Product Technology & Development. Rubén played a key role in the migration of the platform to a micro-service based architecture. In 2021, Rubén became the Director of Software Engineering at Seera Group.
Rubén Jarque received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant in 2008. In the same year, they also studied Computer Science at the University of Skövde. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from institutions such as Coursera and The Knowledge Academy, including Introduction to Digital Transformation with Google Cloud, Creative Problem Solving, How to Manage a Remote Team, Fundamentals of Management, and SCRUM Master.
