Ivan Mascanfroni has over 18 years of work experience in the medical field. Theircareer began in 2003 when they worked as a Bioquímico at Hospital Privado Centro Médico de Córdoba. In 2006, they moved to Universidad Nacional de Cordoba to work at Centro de Investigaciones en Bioquímica Clínica e Inmunología (Cibici-CONICET). In 2010, they joined Instituto de Biología y Medicina Experimental (IBYME-CONICET) as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Laboratorio de Inmunopatología. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National MS Society. In 2015, they joined AbbVie as a Principal Research Scientist, and was promoted to Senior Scientist II and Senior Scientist III. In 2021, they moved to Q32 Bio Inc. as Director, Discovery Biology. Ivan is currently working at Pandion Therapeutics as Director, Immunology Discovery Sciences, and will soon move to Seismic Therapeutics as Senior Director, Immunology.
Ivan Mascanfroni obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba in 2001. Ivan then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Immunology-Molecular Biology-Endocrinology from the same university, which they completed in 2010.
