Bailey Koch has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and politics. In 2016, Bailey worked as a volunteer for the Hawks for U.S. House Campaign, conducting research and engaging with voters. The following year, Bailey interned for U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, assisting with constituent casework and providing support to the senator's staff. From 2018 to 2019, Bailey served as a National Field Organizer for NARAL Pro-Choice America. In 2019, Bailey joined the Minnesota State Senate DFL as a Media Relations Specialist, where they were responsible for creating strategic communication plans, managing social media accounts, and organizing town halls and press conferences. Currently, Bailey is employed at SEIU Local 1, where they have held the roles of Digital Communications Strategist, Communications Coordinator, and currently serve as the Director of Communications.
Bailey Koch attended Litchfield Senior High School from 2009 to 2013. Following their high school education, they pursued their higher studies at Augustana University (SD) from 2013 to 2017. At Augustana University, they focused on Government and International Affairs, specifically in the field of Pre-Law Studies.

SEIU Local 1 security officers, food service workers and janitors are working with community leaders to advocate for the quality services the public deserves and the good jobs our communities need. SEIU Local 1 cities include our headquarters in Chicago as well as members and officers in Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Springfield, and Toledo.
