Valentina Aslani is an accomplished professional in programme funding and development, currently serving as the Interim Head of Programme Funding at Self Help Africa since September 2023. With a robust background at Conciliation Resources from May 2019 to July 2023 as a Senior Programme Funding Manager and Development Officer, Valentina has demonstrated expertise in project management and securing funding from significant organizations such as the European Commission and the US Embassy in Ukraine. Valentina's experience includes leading the Youth Peace and Security Initiative, contributing to gender and migration advocacy at UNESCO, and managing women's rights projects with Lakshyam. Valentina holds a Master of Science in International Relations from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages and International Relations from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, complemented by studies at Harvard University and the University of Bristol.
