Aleksandar Vacic is the President and Co-founder of SeLux Diagnostics, Inc., a company dedicated to providing personalized diagnostic information to combat antibiotic-resistant superbugs. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Engineer and Cell Processing Lead at 1366 Technologies, Inc., where Aleksandar successfully led the R&D of solar cell manufacturing and built small-scale production to achieve cost-efficiency. Aleksandar earned a PhD in Engineering and Applied Sciences from Yale University, focusing on Quantitative Semiconductor Nanosensors, and has held roles as a Teaching Fellow and Technology Consultant at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute. Educational background includes a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Belgrade and a research fellowship at the Weizmann Institute of Science.
