John Bone

John Bone is an experienced energy and renewables consultant with a broad background in energy procurement, strategy development, and regulatory affairs. Since April 2014, John has provided commercial support and advice at Energis Consulting Limited, focusing on renewable electricity generation and energy management for large consumers. John has held strategic leadership positions at SembCorp Utilities since February 2008, leading significant projects like the Merseyside waste PFI contract and the construction of the Wilton 11 power station. With a strong foundation in commercial management from previous positions at Enron, ICI plc, and Impkemix Energy Limited, John has demonstrated a keen ability to negotiate profitable contracts and manage energy purchasing on both domestic and European scales. John holds a BSc with 1st Class Honours from Heriot Watt University and a PhD from The University of Manchester.
