Lydia Chua

Lydia Chua is a seasoned procurement professional currently serving as a Senior Procurement Excellence Executive at Sembcorp Industries Ltd since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as APAC Strategic Procurement Specialist at Takeda and Regional Procurement Specialist for APAC Logistics at GSK, where significant achievements included the Silver Recognition Award for enhancing APAC Joint Venture synergy. With a strong background in stakeholder engagement, contract negotiation, and supplier management across the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare sectors, Lydia has effectively addressed procurement challenges in the APAC region, as well as on a global scale. Lydia holds a Master of Science in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, further complemented by coursework at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
