John Renfro

John Renfro is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in human resources and advisory roles across various industries. Currently serving as a founding member of the Executive Advisory Board at SemperVirens Venture Capital since May 2020, John focuses on investments in work, health, and finance sectors while advising numerous HR tech, healthcare tech, education, and workforce technology companies. Previously, John held senior positions including Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Capital Group, AECOM, The Walt Disney Company, Gateway, and HP, with notable roles in human resources since 1997 at Zenith, which was acquired by LG Electronics. John possesses a B.S. in Administrative Sciences from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an advanced degree from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
