Mike Steffey

Mike Steffey is an experienced agricultural professional with a robust career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director of Agriculture at Seneca Foods Corporation since 2006, Mike leads tree fruit and vegetable seed production operations. Previous roles include serving as a SAVES Specialist Coordinator, focusing on Lean culture and continuous improvement strategies, and managing raw product procurement functions for various fruit operations in the Pacific Northwest and Northern California. Mike has a history of effectively managing agriculture departments, engaging with growers, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality raw products, including sweet cherries, Bartlett pears, and peaches. Prior experience also includes directing operations at American Commodity Co and serving as a Field Representative at Tri Valley Growers. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Systems & Environment from the University of California, Davis.
