SENISCA
Hubert DENISE is a highly experienced bioinformatician with a diverse background in molecular biology and bioinformatics. Currently serving as Principal Bioinformatician at SENISCA since January 2023, Hubert has contributed significantly to wastewater analysis for Covid-19 and other pathogens at the UK Health Security Agency from October 2021 to December 2022. Previous roles include senior positions at the Department of Health and Social Care, University of Cambridge, and the European Bioinformatics Institute, focusing on genomics, database management, and the development of metagenomics resources. With a strong educational foundation, including an MSc and PhD in Molecular Parasitology from Université de Bordeaux, Hubert possesses skills in programming languages and statistical analysis, evidenced by seven publications and a history of academic collaborations and teaching at various universities.
