Amy Smith

Amy Smith currently serves as the Director of Provider Enablement at Sentara Health, where responsibilities include overseeing all Provider Enablement activities for value-based care (VBC) providers, focusing on care delivery transformation and provider performance optimization. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of Director of Clinical Health Services at Aetna, managing a team of over 240 case managers for Virginia Medicaid. Additional experience includes roles as a Senior Network Manager at CareMore Health, Director of Quality and Value Based Care at Commonwealth Primary Care, Care Consultant at Anthem, and Provider Clinical Liaison at Anthem/WellPoint. Amy holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Project Management and a Bachelor of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix, along with a nursing diploma from Southside Regional Medical Center School of Nursing.
