Jae B. Kim

Jae B. Kim is an accomplished medical executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Chief Medical Officer at Septerna since September 2024. Previously, Jae B. Kim held the same position at Design Therapeutics from 2022 to September 2024 and at Avidity Biosciences, Inc. in 2020-2021. Jae B. Kim's earlier career includes significant contributions at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Clinical Development and at MyoKardia as Executive Director of Clinical Research. Experience also includes a tenure at Amgen as Global Development Leader and at Brigham and Women's Hospital as an Associate Physician and Attending Cardiologist. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Neurobiology from Cornell University and a Doctor of Medicine from the Joan & Sanford I.
