Simon Sterck has a diverse work experience in the field of supply chain and operations. Simon is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at SERAX NV since May 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Converse from 2016 to 2021, where they held various roles including Director EMEA Logistics, 3PL Operations Manager, and Project Manager. Before Converse, Simon worked at Nike as a Project Manager for Transportation & Customs from 2014 to 2016. Simon began their career at Deloitte Consulting in 2009 as a Senior Consultant in Supply Chain & Operations, where they worked on various projects involving logistics cost reduction, process redesign, and post-merger integration in different industries.
Simon Sterck obtained a Master's degree in Commercial Engineering from KU Leuven, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat from 1997 to 2003, focusing on Latin-Mathematics. Simon also holds several additional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Green Belt obtained in April 2012, CPIM - Certified in Production and Inventory Management obtained in June 2011 from APICS The Association for Operations Management, and Certified Application Associate - Order Fulfillment with SAP ERP 6.0 obtained in February 2010 from SAP.
