Soham Parikh

Soham Parikh is currently a Staff Applied Research Scientist at ServiceNow since June 2020, specializing in pretraining and leading efforts to integrate agent-like capabilities into the company's large language model to enhance GenAI products. Prior roles at ServiceNow include Senior Applied Research Scientist, where Soham led a team focused on conversational agents, and Senior Machine Learning Engineer, which involved improving multilingual sentence encoders and developing the inaugural dialog act model. Earlier experience includes positions as a Machine Learning Engineer at ServiceNow, a Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania, a Machine Learning Intern at Passage AI with a publication in IAAI 2020, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Applied Machine Learning. Soham started with a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and obtained a Master's degree in Computer and Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
