Miriam Rivera is a seasoned entrepreneur and legal expert, currently serving as the CEO, Co-Founder, and Managing Director of Ulu Ventures, a seed-stage venture firm specializing in enterprise IT since June 2008. In addition to their role at Ulu Ventures, Miriam is a member of the Board of Trustees for Sesame Workshop, contributing to the mission of fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion through educational initiatives. As a Co-Founder and Board Member of Stanford Angels & Entrepreneurs since 2009 and a member of the Kauffman Foundation's Board, Miriam actively engages in advancing opportunities in education and entrepreneurship. Previous experience includes advising the Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford, holding executive positions such as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at Minerva Project, and serving as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Google. Miriam holds multiple degrees from Stanford University, including an MBA, JD, and an AM in Spanish literature, alongside fellowship training in Venture Capital from the Kauffman Fellows program.
